Caproni Ca 310 Reconnaissance Bomber "Libeccio"

Caproni Ca310
The Libeccio was a more powerful development of the Ca.309, with retractable landing gear. It was a small twin-engined reconaissance bomber with a low-wing monoplane design. The Ca310 was not considered an effective combat aircraft, and most had second-line tasks, such as reconnaissance and light bombing in non-threatening situations. Over 1200 were made.

Technical Details
The Ca310 had a crew of 3, or four with two 470 hp Piaggio PVII engines. These powered it to a maximum speed of 350 km/h with a range of 890 km. The ceiling was 6000 m. Armament consisted of three machine guns in various caibres, varying from three of 7.7 mm to three of 12.7mm, but typical arrangement was two of 12.7mm and one of 7.7mm and 880 lbs (400kg) of bombs.
